Archos vs Ipod touch?
okay soo i only just heard about the archos and I do not kno enough about it but I hear that should be better then the ipods. so I have some questions about them and then u can tell me which one u think is better? plz:) cuz im going to buy one of them .... THIS ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT R ARCHOS! 1) at what cost? 2) whether it is hav a touch screen? 3) do u know why its not tht popular? 4) do u have one? 5) it is better then ipod touch? 6) if u hav tht no other details would be great:) 7) does it hav wifi like the iTouch?
http://www.archos.com/products/imt/index.html?country=global&lang=en I also do your homework for you, and theres 2 models Archos, 5 and 7 5 ranges from 60 to 250 GB, while the 7 comes 160-320. consider running regular disk drive in 320 gigs cost about 300 dollars, (not a solid state, which costs even more) that has it thats in a smaller package, and with a screen on it, and all functions This, I imagine it costs much more. But this is the "Media Tablet" which to me is like having a media center PC in your pocket. they have Players Portable Media, pretty much what your iTouch, but with more features. http://www.archos.com/products/gen_5/index.html?country=gb&lang=en all have a choice their own unique, one has a GPS while the other has a 7 inch screen with 800x480 resolution (higher definition than your old CRT television) the other comes in 3 different colors, have a 2gb flash memory, (Ten hours of video or 1000 songs) and costs only about 49 dollars. theres a lot of different models, and I'll check out the website and find whatever suits for you. prices range from 40-350 dollars, and it seems like it would be easier to mail order from finding a store that has it in stock. im not sure why arent as popular as iPod, considering they're much better for a smaller price, my guess is that people do not advertise nearly as much as apples, and use the money to make the product better. I'm considering getting an iPhone, but id rather have one of these.
