Cheap Custom Built Computers
Selling computers built specifically on e-bay (worth it)?
1) I have built many computers for friends and family in the past, and I'm pretty smart technology. I also know how to find good deals online. Is it no value for me to try and build a computer and sell it on e-bay? I am assuming that someone out there has access to the parts much cheaper than I can dream of because people bought it in large numbers, and I just cannot able to do that. However, I want to hear your opinion. 2) Cost of Shipping ... That certain services people use to ship these things? It seems that high shipping costs kill the deal for many people). 3 There is no operating system / operating system installed. If I do not give an operating system with a PC, does this really kills the deal for many people? How with Linux, how people feel about it? Is it legal to install my copy of Windows on a computer, but not to provide disk overclocked? 4) PC. How people feel about this?
I build sell and repair computers and I suggest you forget about selling computers on eBay. I used to make money selling low-end rig but those days are long gone and now I just build a tower high-end. The reason is that you cannot even buy spare parts for what Dell sells HP etc. they are a cheap rig. real money is in their repair and high-end gaming rig $ 2500 plus. "PC overclocked" does not mean anything because, soon after their rig load the default setup, for whatever reason, they return to the standard clock. Only the big boys like Dell offers factory overclocked rigs because they buy a board with a BIOS that determines the speed of the CPU in overclocked by default. You have a good idea but you're about 5 years too late. With tons of competition and many people are now building their own benefit 10% is all you would expect in tower $ 2000. If you want to make money make some business cards and charge $ 75 per hour to fix it. Building a local reputation and, if you're good, word of mouth will bring business You more than you can handle. I used to sell the rig on Ebay but now, with fees and shipping costs so high and not many buyers on Ebay for big rigs required to sell to make money, I stopped that 3 years ago. Using a corporate version of the OS system and installing it on a bunch of different computers is illegal. I am including Complete OS and lock with every rig I sell if they want the OS. Either you sell the tower without OS or their cost for the OS and include disk and lock when you send it. If no, you will have some major legal problems and. Building repair computers for friends is one thing. Do it to pay other bills.
